Cooking Under Pressure
During this virtual workshop, learn about electric pressure cookers and how to use one in your home kitchen. This workshop will be held on Monday, May 10th from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Register online.
This virtual workshop is ideal for participants interested in learning to can low acidic foods. You will learn to process foods like vegetables and meat in a pressure canner. By the end of this workshop, you’ll also know how to avoid microbes that can cause problems during the canning process, how to test for a proper seal and best practices for storing home-canned goods.
